Nice don't think it works w. tort and black and white plastics, too much going on. Needs an (off)white pickguard and white plastics.

    I like that.

Black plate would be better of course. Tort is worse than pineapple on pizza.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

Isn't it the same as the "7up green" Clapton wanted on his first run of sig strats? Or was that not metallic?

Candy Green Metallic nitro, non-reliced. I can see that guitar happening to me in my lifetime at some point.

I had a Squier CV double bound 60s Tele in Candy Apple Green. It was really nice, I put it on eBay with a fees offer, then changed my mind about selling it but someone hit buy it now before I took it down! It was a really nice colour though!

    Here’s my NGD post..

No you're right, it's very similar to that.  Mike Keneally has one, he's changed the scratchplate (and pickups) a few times:

The colour itself is really nice, but definitely looks best with white/parchment plastics and a maple board.

  • Isn't "candy apple" any colour that has a gold or silver base coat?

Coda’s been getting a few Candy Apple Green examples of various builds from the Fender CS lately. I think Doug really likes that colour!

    Apple?

I'm sure I've seen candy apple blue, in context of car/bike finishing...

Paul Drew really does have a lovely touch. He sounds great on anything he plays on, whether it's a miced amp, a load box with IRs or straight digital.

I stumbled across the channel when I was doing my AMP1 research - he's a fantastic player

I think that strat was listed at squealing pig guitars, looked at if lots. Wish I'd bought it now. Although of course it might not have sounded quite so good for me!

But that rug is inexcusable ;)
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
