This Epiphone has undergone a serious makeover and looks very smart now in a deep glossy black with cream edge binding. It all goes together well with the gold plated hardware and amber speed knobs.
The pickups are Seymour Duncans - a Jazz in the neck and a Saturday Night Special in the bridge.
It has been modified to have a master volume knob and tone knob for each pickup, rather than a master tone control and a volume for each pickup, like normal Explorers.
All the modifications were done before I got it, about 5 years ago, except the volume and tone controls and the bridge pickup swap. It had a JB in there to start with.
My scales say it is 8lbs but I think it is probably a little more than that.
It sounds great, the pickups are loud and articulate.
There are a few light scratches and swirls but no major damage or dents in the finish. The frets have plenty of life left.
Comes with the Epiphone hard case which has a few scratches too.
Collection from Leicestershire best for me, might be able to meet up/deliver if not too far.
£300
cheers, Martin

Update - I weighed the Explorer on the bathroom scales - 8lb 8oz or 4kg was the result. Unfortunately I don't know how accurate these are.The neck is neither huge nor tiny - flat and wide maybe the best description.

Go to a white goods outlet & ask nicely for a fridge/freezer box.
Box cutter knife to trim, some heavy duty tape and you are good to go.
I have the Korina Explorer & yours is a bargain. GLWTS  ;)
