Thomas Frank has been sacked..  should have happened weeks ago!!
To be quite Frank with you, I'm surprised it has taken this long to make that choice

A shame to hear that Birmingham City's owner Tom Wagner is recovering from a Stroke, he's only in his mid 50s. Has done a lot to fund Blues becoming a more interesting team which they deserve after decades of dodgy (in some cases criminal) ownership. Get well soon

Frank had terrible luck with injuries but the difference in form between Prem and Champions League was telling. However, last night was dismal beyond belief.

Heitinga to take over until after the World Cup and Poch to return thereafter, assuming that we've not been relegated in which case does anyone have Big Sam's number?

The problem would be that a new manager in the summer post-World Cup wouldn't have enough of a pre-season to work with his squad.

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

    I never buy that argument.
    1) All teams have lots of injuries at times. That's part of the reason you have a squad.
    2) Everyone in any given squad is a pro footballer being payed a hell of a lot of money, and presumably good enough to be signed by a club in arguably the best league in the world.

I think the only 'injuries' excuse that sticks is if you don't have enough players to field a team.

Hoddle will only take the job if he can have Mystic Meg as his number two.

Well if he got the job, he'd certainly be being punished for sins in a former life

No need to worry though, Meg has already told him that he didn't get the job

Redknapp has been out of the game for years and is looking after his wife.

And now it seems that Odobert has done his ACL. There must be an underlying reason why we've had so many injuries - crap medical team, training pitches too soft/hard.

Whoever does come in as interim should start with a few simple things.
    1) This is the shirt we will be wearing in our next game, try to pass to someone in the same shirt.
    2) This is the ball. If it's heading towards our goal belt the bloody thing back towards their goal. No fannying about.
    3) Stop diving. The next one to get booked for simulation will get a non-simulated boot in the bollocks.
    4) Shoot. We can't score when we spend half an hour fannying around outside their penalty area.

And in late night news... Forest have sacked Sean Dyche.  Are they trying for the most managers in a season record?

Dyche and Postegoclou were two poor appointments in my opinion, but getting to the point where Nuno lost all support was the real disaster.

Seen a lot of Palace fans saying Glasner should go as well - not really sure what they expect him to do, the most important players in his team have been taken away with no real quality coming in.

At this point I'd happily have Glasner at Spurs

I see Sir Jim has opened his gob again. This guy makes it really difficult to support United these days.

Diabolical from Radcliffe. Surely the guy is rich enough to have advisers? Being a racist is bad enough but basing that opinion on totally wrong facts about immigration and benefit claimants - absolutely appalling. All from his tax-free haven in Monaco.

He really is no improvement on the Glazers, and arguably now worse.

Just a hunch but I can see Frank going to Palace in time for next season  - Otherwise not sure where he'll go - Probably to big a reputation now to go back to the EFL and build another club, as per Brentford, but is he 'good enough' for a top 6-8 club

After his showing at Spurs, I don't think a top 6 club will touch him... would like to see him stay in the prem though as he did a good job at Brentford and should have some credit in the bank... No one should be judged on what they do at Spurs

Funnily enough, before last nights game I was thinking that does Dyche have some form of exclusive contract that he only wants to manage clubs in a relegation battle

I dare say our resident Forest expert @joneve will update us on this topic later
