A massive, massive game tonight. 

I was fine about it until this morning - and now the scale of it is weighing heavy - not felt this nervous for a football game in forever.

Good luck tonight - I know we have a mutual enemy but I had no allegiance either way about this tie - Would have preferred it to be the final - But Villa's team selection and subsequent performance v Spurs last weekend annoyed me - It gifted Spurs 3 points and has potentially put W Ham in danger thanks to a half hearted could not be arsed approach - Pity W Ham can't sue Villa for such an approach but the Villa attitude pissed me off - So good luck and hope it goes on for 2 more games

Interesting that Villa get criticised for dropping players and playing badly after a European game, but Palace get a seemingly free pass to do the same?

I've no real dog in the fight for tonight so just hoping for a good game. 

Though as a West Brom fan, maybe it would be nice if Villa could go on to win it so they have something different to talk about than the European Cup in 1982. Cos you know, they won the European Cup in 1982, you know. You might not know because they hardly ever go on about it constantly, but they did

Haha, my Forest fan mate is very similar... did you know Forest won the European Cup twice? As in two times? With a manager called Brian something? It was news to me as he nevers says anything about it

Never turned up tonight and our bench was for show. We had 3 fit 1st team players available on the bench, the others were literally filling seats. Villa were relentless and we couldn’t match their intensity at all. 

Shame to go out with such a damp squib but what a run. 

Hopefully can keep our league place secure now and hopefully Villa lose the final and lose out on a champions league spot when Bournemouth take their annual 3 points off us on the final day.

I've had three Villa fans in the office gloating this morning already! I can be as snidey as I like but I'd love for Albion to be in their position. I agree with @thecolourbox that we may get a break from 1982 if they win it (not sure which is worse tbh.). I'm not sure if you know, but they won the European Cup in 1982...

City - jammy bastards. Brentford should have had a penalty and Bernardo Silva should have been sent off.

Need to do the job at West Ham tomorrow. Try to score a few as well.

It seems weird that if Villa win the Europa and finish 5th, 6th place gets a CL spot but not if they're top 4.
