As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb

Very difficult to narrow down to three, let alone put them in order. Nice work all of you. A goodly variety of subjects all well captured.

Congratulations! Drop me a PM with your theme for next month’s competition when you get a minute, please.
Thanks as always to everyone who entered and/or voted - I know I say it every month but I really do mean it (and it would be a very short thread if no-one entered!)
Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
I wondered this as well, actually
I didn't have an amazing amount of time to experiment with the theme, I tried a few things with water and thought about breaking a few plates and bottles, but knowing my luck I'd end up with a massive shard of glass stuck out the end of my lens.
In the end I just strapped a camera (not one I value highly) to the side of the car with a combination of suction cups and some hefty tethers, and went for a drive to see what would happen.
I must have had some strange looks from other drivers, lol.
The shutter was triggered remotely (thank goodness for technology, right) and then a little bit of post editing to a decent crop and try to do something with the blown out highlights in the sky between the foliage.
After that shot, I was hoping to go out and try it again, maybe this time I'd wash the car first or try something similar on the motorbike, but things got busy quickly so I just threw that one in and hoped for the best.
If you all had visions of me clinging to the side of a car with one hand while riding a skateboard and operating a camera with the other, the truth is much more mundane than that.
Thank you for all the votes, though, it means a lot.
