FS Fender Player Stratocaster - Capri Orange - SOLD

Fender Player Stratocaster in Capri Orange, £380.

I’m based in Shoebury (near Southend), there is a direct train from Fenchurch Street/West Ham and sometimes Stratford. Collection only for now.

The pros… a proper Strat which plays fantastically for near Squier money

The cons… had an incident coming off a stand which has left some dents/marks in the poly and a mark on the tuner. Have tried to get pictures as best as possible.

Does not affect playability in any way so would be a great gigging guitar.

I bought a Player Strat a few weeks ago and I have to say I'm very impressed by both the build quality and the sound of the thing.  It actually has some balls unlike all the others I've owned, even the American Special with three Texas Special pickups, yet it still sounds just like a Strat.  Nice neck too, which suprised me a great deal.

These are seriously good guitars and not just for the money.

Yes I’ve had a few of the Player Series now, Fender have done a great job for the price. The neck is super playable.

Unfortunately I’m in violation of the ‘one in, one out’ rule so it’s currently hiding in a case.

Hi.. don’t s’pose you know what the route is under the pickguard? (ie, would it take 2 humbuckers without the help of a chisel and a lack of skill?)

From my googling it seems it’s routed for H - S - H, so should work.

if there is genuine interest I’d willing to have a look.

This is a proper bargain, there’s plenty of Squiers on eBay for more.
