This is a beautiful guitar in great condition that I have recently acquired that ticks all the boxes ….Almost!

The one thing that I can’t quite overcome is the neck profile. My only other electric is an ancient bashed up Japanese tele that I have had forever and is my go to, my comfort and just feels so right.
However this Japanese beauty has a U shaped neck as opposed to a slim C? of my old faithful and every time I switch it irks me. It is not a baseball neck and I’m probably just being a wimp but it’s just not 100% right for me.

Set up superbly. Low action. Great bigsby. Lightweight for a bigsby equipped guitar. Gorgeous sound. Typical Japanese quality.

Some very minor cosmetic marks that are almost impossible to photograph or indeed see.

I have now bought a new guitar that so far seems to tick all the boxes so this is available £750 £725.  collected.

One of only 49 for the European market, this Fender MIJ (Made in Japan) Traditional '60s Telecaster Bigsby is presented in Butterscotch with Rosewood fretboard. Fender's Japanese models are beautifully made and offer unique features and upgrades not available on Fender's standard models. This Traditional '60s Telecaster Bigsby features a Alder body with "U"-shape neck.

Meeting vintage specifications from end-to-end, the Traditional ‘60s Telecaster with Bigsby sports a 7.25”-radius fingerboard, vintage-style pickups and a Bigsby vibrato. Classic Tele tone, combined with the smooth action and sweet vibrato of a Bigsby vibrato.

Hi Jim, I bought your old red double bound 80's MIJ Tele from you a good few years ago now. Remember that one? Your bigsby Tele looks great. U neck on a Tele always a plus! GLWTS

Cheers @lovestrat74. I do remember that guitar fondly. I think it was probably the same issue - slightly different chunkier neck. I think I’ll just settle for my old faithful and be a one tele man!
