A rare bird indeed, another beauty from my Marmite collection (The Bett Lynch Duesenberg Julia has sold). I can totally understand if this is a bridge to far for a lot of guitar lovers, give one a try and you will be surprised. Top top quality build and plays faultlessly, is a very comfortable size too. 2 x Seymour Duncan P90's sound wonderfull, locking Gotoh tuners and a Schaller LP  trem.

Weighs 7lbs and 7oz

some info from Flaxwood:

What is flaxwood exactly?
Flaxwood is an innovative new tone material that is created by breaking the grain structure of natural wood and injection-molding it into shape together with an acoustically sensitive binding agent.

What are flaxwood's benefits compared to those of natural wood?
In so many words, acoustic consistency and uniformly flawless quality. As it is rid of irregularities in composition such as the grain and knots found in traditional tonewoods, the acoustic response of flaxwood is such that it resonates with equal force in all directions, and gives an even dynamic response through a guitar's entire range. Flaxwood is also completely unaffected by changes in humidity, making it a more reliable tone material in changing conditions. Flaxwood is also an ecological alternative to wood species used in traditional instrument building that are slowly nearing extinction.

How are Flaxwood guitars manufactured?
Flaxwood guitars' bodies and necks are injection-molded, with the exception of the HYBRID, where the body is European Alder. The guitars are fully assembled by hand. All of the fretwork, adjusting and fine-tuning are done by hand by experienced luthiers.

How does age affect a Flaxwood guitar's sound?
A brand new Flaxwood plays and sounds like a vintage guitar. Flaxwood is a natural tone material that is acoustically 'open' from the outset; you won't have to wait for years for the wood to settle and be broken in to get the best tone from your instrument. The sound is open and rich, straight from the workshop. Flaxwood is also practically immune to the effects of aging.

    Thanks for the comment @Dominic.

Not my geometry set I'm afraid, I've been lazy and used the original owners pics, will get my own up asap. I hated Math's at school, the only lessons I dreaded, and suffice to say I failed my "O" level miserably.

No one I know has ever played one and to be honest neither had I until this was delivered, always wanted one and was suitably impressed with it, top drawer build and attention to detail. My finances have altered somewhat since retiring and the extra cash would be useful at present.

I've wanted one of these since I saw Rick Graham playing some sfogli on one years back.

The guitar fund is dangerously low unfortunately, if that changes I'll be in touch

I'm useless at describing neck shapes, but will have a go.....

nut width is a touch under 43mm, comparing it with a wide fat PRS, a MIJ Tokai 335 and a 2002 USA strat it is closest to the PRS but not quite as fat, definately deeper than the Strat and slightly beefier allround than the Tokai. All that said the whole feel of the neck is different, being made from Flaxwood it feels somehow more solid in the hand than wood does and has a natural satin feel to it, it is extremely nice to play in my humble opinion.

    hope that all helps :#

Yeah, one of the many reasons I ended up with the Liekki, though I will have to be honest and say I had never heard of Mr Sfogli. Just checked him out and listening to him as I write this, a cool player indeed.
