I sort of know what you mean but you’d have thought they’d have to be original given how much this guitar must have been looked over?  I also thought the pickup covers were more rounded on a 54 and the bridge pickup cover looks slightly more “modern” than the other two but it’s hard to tell from a distance as they’re quite worn.  I also thought the switch tip should be more “rugby ball”.  Maybe they were using different plastics/bakelite as it’s a late 54 so what they’d use on the 55s?
