Only a handful of readers will have heard of Dyfrig and his band Topper, but he deserves a tribute as he was such a massive songwriting talent. Passed away at 43.
Last weekend I stumbled on this very programme on S4C’s on-demand service, which resulted in me enthusing away to my girlfriend about how great a songwriter he was. It only took two or three YouTube clips to convince her.
