Very identifiably The War On Drugs, immediately. I love their wide-screen sound. This is faster than the album, somewhat frenetic almost, but sounds good

It's had a Springsteen / E Street band feel since the opening intro and the saxophone only expresses that further.

Guitar cuts through nicely on this one.

Yeah, the bass and drums really drive the first number along. I'm getting heavy Dylan influences, 'specially in the lyrics.

Yeah I thought Dylan, particularly in the vocal phrasing (although, as Charles Shaar Murray says, all guitarists who aren't really singers seem to end up sounding a bit Dylan-esque).

I don't have a high-quality audio setup, but it sounds very good for a live album (heavily-studio-tweaked, you say?)
    Yes - see below..

    Where was this recorded?
All over the place. It’s basically a “best of” from a couple of tours around 2018-19, and quite possibly comped so solos might be from a different performance than vocals (not sure). But whatever the appprach the result is bloody marvellous

So far both songs sound like they "want" to fade out on a guitar solo, but have to end definitively for a live set!

Listening to Adam Granducial is deadly for pedal GAS. He has everything on!

I've just read that Adam Granduciel's partner is Krysten Ritter (aka Jessica Jones).  He must be cool.

There's certainly plenty going on. I'll check that out later then.

"Red Eyes" is what got me into TWOD, I can't remember why I came across it - might even have been a random Spotify suggestion. They don't always hit the mark with their suggestions but they came up trumps on this one

I think the Rig Rundown is from a few years before this, circa Lost In The Dream. At least, if it's the one I've seen. Not sure if it's changed much.
