SOLD: Dean V, 1979

funhousefunhouse Frets: 126
edited June 2022 in Guitars £
All original Dean V in cherry finish, which is in great condition for its age. There are no breaks or cracks but there is the odd ding and wear here and there, consistent with this being a 43-year-old guitar. The strap button on the wing was moved by a previous owner and there is a dent at the 13th fret of the fretboard, which it is not noticeable when you are playing.

Mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard, comfortable v-shaped neck and DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups. It's a resonant and versatile guitar with massive bottom end. From warm jazzy tones on the neck pickup to fat rock tones on the bridge pickup, this flying v covers all the bases.

These guitars are difficult to find in the UK and were made at a time when Dean Zelinsky's hand built instruments were legendary for their quality. Comes with a good quality Epiphone flying v hard case or the original Dean case, which is in poor condition (the latches are broken) and is very heavy, so postage would be more expensive. I would prefer collection but am happy to post within the UK at cost or to meet a reasonable distance from Edinburgh (central Scotland/north of England).
