This is the thread for Listening Party #13 which will start at 8pm sharp on Wednesday 15th June, so cue up your CD or vinyl, rewind your tape or add to your Spotify/Tidal/Qobus playlist ready to go.
For an explanation / idea of what we are trying to do, please read this thread -
Please chip in with any positive comments or observations on each tune as they are being played in real time. There will be plenty of opportunity to expand on longer thoughts if you want to after the 'live' thread has finished, so keep them short and upbeat during the playback period. There might be a very short drinks interval between side 1 and 2. I will let you know when side 2 will re-start.
The 13th record we are listening to is:
Artist: Wishbone AshAlbum: There's the Rub

There's the Rub is the fifth studio album by rock band
Wishbone Ash. It is the first album to feature guitarist-vocalist

Bill Szymczyk.

I could just pretend to be listening, I know the album really well, but it would be nicer to join in.
The Mrs and I have both now tested positive for Covid, and to make matters worse it's our son's 9th birthday this week and tonight he was supposed to be having a party at an adventure centre with all his mates.
I suspect the fall out from the cancelled party is going to be fairly cataclysmic, so it's unlikely I'll be able to join you tonight.
No ????
Maybe with a beer or two?
It's looking like a James Bond movie of his choice (big Roger Moore fan, unfortunately) and some shitty takeaway food.

As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb
