Inevitably there will be debate about whether V1 or V2 of these sounds better

You can really hear the Midi sheen on the repeats

Modern sampling is too pristine. I want the analog-ness of shitty digital

I think that this has been on the cards…

The (excellent looking) Midnight range would have moved on older stock, and some dealers have reduced Dig and Deco prices.

I own the amazing El Cap and Big Sky in mignight, but these new midi pedals will be tempting.

By that token, I wonder if this means they will be updating the big box pedals as well.

  • It's a thought but aside from a USB connection, I don't think there's much that they're adding to the little ones that needs to be added to the big boxes.

Surprised the Brigadier wasn't on the picture too. Hopefully that will also get the treatment.

True, I was just following the “let’s make all the older boxes we have in stock so they sell before we bring out the new versions”, erm, logic, if you can call it that? Suppose for the Timelibe they could add a couple of engines (granular?), allow you to run any two delay types together in series/parallel, all engines to have a 0ms minimum, new screen display… that kind of thing  :)

One can certainly hope, mate. A granular delay would be cool!

  • It feels like this could have been fake (I'm speculating, and hoping that isn't the case), they're taking and age with an announcement.

I might have to start rearranging my pedalboard a bit then to crowbar an El Cap in then if it is true :)

'Pre delay' on the Flint would have been handy
Pre delay is now on the Flint.  I’ll not change mine but nice to know if I ever need to it’s there.

New features and midi is cool and all, but judging from the Andertons pricing I'm not sure I'll be upgrading. They were a luxury item at £279/£299 but £349 is a substantial increase. The Deco extra features are exciting though, and predelay on the flint is a good shout.
