Paid for tab

Hi all,

I know you can get pretty decent tabs on Ultimate GUitar but the searching through to find them is pretty tedious.  Any one recommend a site to get decent tabs?  Rock, metal, blues is what I'm after.

Yes, I know "learn by ear" etc etc but one simply doesn't not have the space in one's busy schedule!

Songsterr is pretty decent and the essential functionality is free.  You only need a subscription to alter playback speed, print out etc.

Interested why searching is tedious?  Either type Artist or Song title generates a list straight away?

I think it’s more a case of sorting the wheat from the chaff. That’s my experience of Ultimate guitar - several versions and it usually take a composite of a few to get something close.

My bass player uses paid for TAB. They’re still wrong, but not as consistently as they free TABs

You then have to search through the various ones to find the best one and then some are wrong in different places so you end up needing to look at more than one.

Plus one for Songster. Better than tabs with no time signatures or note durations in my opinion.

Probably songster.

It's still crap compared to actual notation but it's better than Gary in his basement doing the 500th version of SCOM.

IIRC correctly you can't print from it... but you can certainly screenshot....

Bit of a hassle but useful.

Ever seen this? (I had this book...)

I've paid for someone to tab something out for me in the past and grouped together with some fellow guitarists for the same. Turned out it was spot on and well worth the investment.
