you can't buy that sort of endorsement can you?

What's the deal there? Has he been using them live? or is it just one that happened to be taken by the tech to the shoot on the day from the warehouse since they needed a prop?

Nonetheless I'm sure it will be trebles all round at Taylor distributors UK this weekend..Sir Paul McCartney is this weeks Radio Times cover star Radio Times
...she's got Dickie Davies eyes...

Looks like he's had it since at least 2017, and Taylor guitars were aware of it then https://www.facebook.com/taylorguitars/photos/a.252363442231/10155406388197232

The left handed cutaway might give it away.

    I don't see why it's noteworthy.

He's played dozens of guitars over the years: Gibson, Epiphone, Martin, Fender, Taylor, Hofner, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, etc, etc, etc...

To me it's just Paul McCartney holding a guitar. It could easily have been any of the other brands above.

I have been reading the history of Viz (the publication, not our esteemed member) and there's a lot of stuff about circulation figures. The Radio Times used to sell over two million copies per week. Less than half a million these days, don't know how many readers of it are in the market for an expensive acoustic guitar.
But good that he's still playing at 80.

The most shocking thing about that magazine cover is seeing Lenny Henry has been knighted!

I know. You co-found a charity that has raised over £1 billion for poverty relief, spend a large part of your career campaigning for greater diversity in the arts. Star in everything from Tiswas to Othello and they give you a Knighthood. What's the world coming to!  ;)

Sometimes, musicians just play instruments without endorsing anything...

    Not often, admittedly, but sometimes.

if it wasn't for Allen Klein and Lee Eastman he'd be far richer. I suppose there's all that sausage money too though.
