This guitar body shape is cool

I must admit I think the body shape is very cool. I can see hints of the the Guild Jetstar and T-Bird models here and the Gretch Bo Diddley and obviously the Telecaster.
Is it your cup of tea too?

It doesn’t offend me and it looks a quality build.
Proof would be in the playing.

For me the proof would be how it hangs on the strap.

I quite like that. I’m not sure what the 3rd knob does, but I think it would look better with just 2, maybe moved slightly, or not, but all in all, it’s a thumbs up from me..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

It would look better with chrome covered matching pickups. And knobs that matched and weren’t  weirdly placed. And no scratchplate. Oh and a better body shape.

    I hate it.

I think it looks good, but I'm not sure how comfortable it would be.  I prefer a bit of a carve or contour on the top, and I think I'd really dislike that convex shape in the treble cutaway.

Not my sort of thing. I'm not keen on how the body joins the neck personally. If it curved a tad into the neck I might feel differently.

Still, well done to anyone who produces something different, my guitars are mostly very trad. I like the iconic shapes.

Yep, I rather like it.  Suspect Billy Gibbons would too.

I don't like it, but I can see the skill involved. It's a bit too 'heavy metal' for my liking.
I like Tele's either nice or parts. I've never been fond of strats or sg's either. Take me out to pasture and shoot me daddy...

It’s a very long way away from ‘heavy metal’ if you ask me. The more I look at it the more I like it.
As a guess is the metal knob a pickup selector switch do we think?

Agreed, it's definitely more in the Bo Diddley, Billy Gibbons "quirky" vein, maybe a hint of Danny Ferrington's designs.  Not metal.

    pickup up selector Id imagine

the body is fucking horrendous,  looks like the kind of thing a 12 year old does in Technical Drawing when they first get given "flexi curve"  to try

I really quite like it, but not the pickguard.  The curve doesn't follow any other lines, I thought it might mirror the cutaway at the bottom but not really, the radius appears much smaller and it just has Pacman vibes to me.  Not sure exactly what it should be like, but not this?

Actually the rear end looks very much like a guitar that was very high end called a Daion Headhunter
It was like a 335 with a convex cut to the tail
    they were actually superb guitars

I think I like it. Not sure whether the 3 out of 4 pointy corners and one round one works perfectly yet though..

I see Fender Swinger and 50s Rickenbacker 'tulip' shapes...

I like the body shape but not the (lack of) finish, the pickguard shape but not the material, and I don't like the binding or the hardware/pickup choices.
