Selling my beautiful Gretsch Country Club. Hoping to raise funds to buy a 330 so no trades (unless it's a 330!). Not a single change save that in the case there is a tune-o-matic should you want it but the original bridge works fine for my money.

This is a wonderful guitar, great player and brilliant sound. Plays well up and down the neck, no tuning or intonation issues. The neck is a surprisingly contemporary shape, fills the hand nicely without being too chunky, none of the thin-nut issues that Gibson had in this period. Good year for the country club as this doesn't have the weird plastic back protector that earlier CC's had, just a beautiful archtop back.

No binding rot or other finish issues. This is a very nice vintage guitar that I am selling for the price of a current Gretsch Re-issue. These are a sleeper on the vintage market in my view, get one at a good price while you can.

I am based in East Sussex (near Lewes) but work in London so collection from either location can be arranged.

£2,750.

Wow, that looks great and superb condition for its age.

Out of interest, what does the switch near the tailpiece do? Is this CC 25.5" scale length?

Are these basically like a White Falcon without the trem and the bling? Same scale length and pickups?
