What would you mod on a Rat 2?

To make a Rat 2 work like an original, what would you change?

I recall reading somewhere that the most noticeable difference is a pot taper.. but I can't remember which one.

I don't know the exact answer to this but there is a load of interesting stuff on the topic of RAT circuits and the variations between them my JHS Pedals around their PackRat launch. Am pretty sure you'll find an answer there. Super interesting and we'll produced videos from JHS, IMO.

Nothing, it's all in the pots and the exact value (and type, unusually for a low voltage circuit) of the two capacitor and resistor pairs that set the two overlapping high shelf eq boosts in the op amp gain.

Dot why still come with a weird power jack? That would be the first thing to change.

Otherwise nothing. I love my Rat2

Thanks, gentlemen.  'Nothing' is my favourite answer.

Although I will definitely check out the JHS video - thanks for the tip.  Always worth watching those, if only to upset the internet conspiracy nutters :-)
