What's Hot

sometimes,  without "warning"  I get logged out of the site............... nothing done at this end - ie no cookie removal etc

Is this normal ?   security type thing ?
just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.

Relatively normal for this forum on iOS devices, they just seem to do it every so often. Or at least quite a few people on here, including me, experience this. No obvious reason why it happens.

Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

happens to me as well. For fun, the admins should include a little message when you 1st try to log on saying you've been banned for unspecified reasons.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

Bertie, it's Wilf.  When you go for a pee, his claw hits the 'log out' button.  He's doing a Muttley laugh as I type.

Happened to me once. Found myself logged out on Android mobile with Chrome.

I was new at the time and I seriously *did* think I'd been banned :)

I get logged out regularly but infrequently. I've never bothered to check, I just assumed it was the same for everyone and it happened once a month or every 50 days or something. Takes 3 seconds to log in again. It never seemed important enough to investigate.

One thing worth considering - your cookie is either attached to www.thefretboard.co.uk or thefretboard.co.uk; if you're logged in on one but follow a link to the other, it'll show you as not being logged in.

On some devices - like Apple gear - you'll be on the "www" version, but it won't show you the "www" itself, so you wouldn't know just by looking at it.

It's something I've been meaning to fix for a while...
