For me the coolest guitar so far was that sunburst tele played on the Crowded House set by Neil's son.

What was the short scale VOX used on Rob and Alison's set.

Also on the same set. What was the guitar with the 3 bombs on the pickguard?

And thirdly the blonde tele on Rob and Alison's set. What were the two levers on the bridge. I'm guessing it was a B bender but why 2 levers?

Edit. There's a Glastonbury thread for the music stuff. This thread is for guitars or rig gear the bands/individuals are using.

I bet if they televised the teeny tents you would at least see some Epiphones and Squiers.

I remember Phillip McKnight mentioned on his podcast that very few bands at Coachella Festival were playing Gibson guitars. Would be interested if this trend continues at Glastonbury.

What's that funny shaped triple-pickup guitar Hester (the blonde one) uses?  Looks a bit like a Music Man St Vincent?

The guitarist with Arlo Parks had a great selection - a 335, a Musicman Albert Lee, & an SG.

Idles' guitarist (the one in the dress) was rocking his very cool acrylic double-cut aluminium neck EGC.

First Aid Kit bass playing sister had a really cool what I think was a rivolta bass as well as what I think was a roadworn mustang bass.

Seen a couple of duesenbergs but mostly I’ve noticed telecasters and everyone seems to be playing through DRRIs apart from crowded houses magnatones and the guitarist from st etienne had a tweed what I think was a deluxe.

Most people seem to be playing Telecasters. Not seen many Les Pauls. Seen more 335s.

There was a BC Rich bass for part of St Vincent's set. Mockingbird?

  • Tom Dowse of Dry Cleaning, played Silvertone 1478 for one song, with a Bigsby it looked very cool. Original or re-issue I wonder.

Yeah, that's her usual setup, and Harrison Whitford from her band (also son of Aerosmith's Brad Whitford) usually plays a gold top LP and a Tele. I haven't seen that set yet so not sure if he's got anything new.

Sam Fender & co had a good range of Jazzmasters and Strats, and I think I saw a JM-pickup Tele at one point

Get a trial VPN subscription and then cancel it on Monday. You can then login via a UK server. Problem solved.
