When I seen this come up for sale I couldn’t not buy it, heard some good things about these and none of it was wrong. @countrydave this one is your fault

Brad Paisley Telecaster , probably the most Telecaster sounding Telecaster of all the telecasters I have owned, unbelievably light ( 5lb 8) resonant and sparkly

love it

thank you to @treewig1 for the exceptional packing

@mikeyrob73 Glad you like it, a bit good aren’t they.
I’m half tempted to stick a twisted tele neck pickup in my Esquire.

That looks really good.  I have three Teles (one of which is Fender), and whilst they're all very different in terms of tone and feel, they do have one thing in common:  they're all boat-anchors to a greater or lesser extent.  Now that isn't really a problem for me in the grand scheme of things, but 5lb 8oz?!  That's insanely light.  You've got me thinking... and HNGD!  Just looks very cool indeed.

So i have this back ( mate wanted it for studio recording ) and plugged it in last night at 5pm, Mrs and Kids out, before i knew it it was 845pm, nearly 4 hours lost. Surely no better sign of a good guitar.

It really is a tremendous Telecaster

No neck dive to speak of
Always find it difficult to describe a neck shape so here is Fenders Blurb

The "Enhanced V"-shaped neck is crafted to Paisley's personal requirements, and rounds out higher up the neck, making it great for chording or soloing. The 9.5"-radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets allows for big bends and fast playing.

what i can say is i personally find the neck super comfy

    5lb 8??! Wow!

Do you need to tie one of those little circles to it like when you get a Birthday balloon so it doesn't float off?!

Happy NGD. Apparently the body is made of lightweight spruce and even lighter weight Paulownia wood. Seems the jury is still out on Paulownia as a tonewood but it sure can make for some incredibly light guitars. Enjoy!

    Thread from the deep
nearly 5 months later and it’s still doing all the right things so much so my prs eg3 and cv tele deluxe just don’t get touched. You know when you find “the one”? This is it for me , one bloody amazing guitar

    Looks ace!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

  • Aren’t they fab.  Glad you are still enjoying it.

Setting up for last nights gig I realised that for the last 6 months, maybe more, my BP Esquire has had 99% of the playing time at all my gigs.
