FS Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster - Withdrawn

Only recently treated myself to this as always wanted an AO/AV strat, such is life my old refinished 79 strat came up and I couldn't miss the chance to grab it.

This was described as being 7 to 7.5 lbs,  - EDIT - having weighed it on uncalibrated tiny kitchen scales for a request, it comes up as just under 8lbs but I can't say how reliable that is.

It's the ash version with the nitro off white finish, can see the grain through,  and the Pure Vintage 59 pickups (which are terrific, low output though in case not your thing).  There are a couple of marks worst is on the back of the upper horn as shown.

Neck is 9.5 radius and the chunkiest strat neck I've ever played making it very comfortable to play.  It's a 2020 and to my knowledge all original.  Has the original paperwork and whammy bar.

It came to me in the original tweed case, but the outer two latches of the case are broken, the middle one keeps the case closed for home storage.  The new owner can have the original case or the brown G&G custom shop case I bought for it, which I think might come with the AO 60s although I'm not certain.

£1275 delivered with the brown custom shop case or £1225 delivered with the tweed case.(Was £1350 and £1250 I think, shouldn't have deleted the content - doh!)

Made the age old mistake of playing it again last night, this is the stage where I would normally keep it but I am bonded to the 79 strat in my avatar like gollum to the one ring - I only have space for one strat so this one has to go.  I will never play it again though!

I realise times are hard and big new guitar purchases aren’t top priority, but I reckon I’ve got 40 years left max and I may not be able to play guitar for the past ten so if someone wouldn’t mind buying it I would be grateful!
