Just as well it's being released this year then innit?
Arguably, while it's disappointing/frustrating to fans, they don't "owe" anyone anything. But I hear ya it's been a loooong time since XV! I still remember buying that album

I sincerely hope he makes a good recovery. 

I'm not bothered about the tour or the album (although commiserations to anyone who had tickets).  For me they lost "something" a long time ago, and although I'll probably buy the record I don't expect to like it.
