Hi guys,

Been a long time member here but don’t really stop by often anymore due to other commitments in life. I used to be very active on YouTube but stopped posting quite some time ago. I’ve just begun posting again over the past couple of weeks. If you’re interested in players like Marc Ribot, Jim Campilongo, Bill Frisell, Danny Gatton, Chet Atkinson, Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery, Bill Jennings and Charlie Christian. And you have any interest in jazz, country, blues, folk, pop and rock, I’d love it if you’d stop by the channel and check some videos out. I also sell transcriptions for my arrangements and chord melodies if you fancy a crack at learning any of the stuff. (Im a guitar teacher by profession when not gigging, and I specialise in jazz (gypsy, swing and bebop), Blues and Country. I do plan to start posting some tutorial videos and etudes of my own in specific styles over the next few weeks too. Really looking to add viewers and subscribers to help me grow on the platform.

Anyway, enough waffle, here are a few of my new videos to demonstrate a decent variety of things!

Cheers,

Alex :)

Hi Bud, I'm also building social channels mainly for new artists and gear demos, but you have a reasonable start with subs.

From a rummage around your channel, and in my experience so far, I would say you need a few tweaks, the Thumbnail pic needs to be much more attractive, by that I mean just an image with no indication of what you offer is easily skippable, try and come up with a logo or wording style that  its you every time folks are surfing.

Some of the audio is noisy, is that intentional ?..if Not I would try and sort that out.

Maybe do a few seconds of chat about the piece to start, people can engage with that .

Then..its all about exposure, make sure you have posts on IG / Twitter / Reddit, even Tik Tok with shorts and keep posting.

Follow similar genres and people on all socials, comment on their posts a lot...this can gain passive followers.

Lastly...follow me ;-)...post on my channels and I will comment and repost where possible. I will sub your YT
