https://i.imgur.com/yFf1SXW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0h4qrpf.jpg Here is an absolutely beautiful and well cared for PRS DGT signature in Solana Burst. The guitar is from 2011, and has the rare combination of a 10 top and moons. Those of you who are connoisseurs of the PRS brand will know that this is often considered to be the best PRS, as it has two volume and one tone control, plus a highly effective coil tap. In terms of flexibility, and the highest quality vintage guitar tones, the DGT takes some beating. I have rehearsed and gigged with a DGT as my sole guitar, and somehow they just work. The weight of this example is also very good, coming in at around (or just under) 8lbs. https://i.imgur.com/sgHi2NG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/8BUVzJe.jpg This guitar is in excellent condition, with only the very occasional mark; there is one area of wear on the neck between the fretboard and neck (not pictured), but this is very minor. The picture of the back tends to exaggerate any wear marking evident; it is not problematic from my perspective - but do remember this guitar is already 11 years old, and as with all my guitars, it gets played. https://i.imgur.com/wClKATM.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JYV1eL2.jpg I hope that the pictures show the quality of the top as spectacular, without being excessive - and Solana Burst is a really special colour. I have had quite a few DGTs over the years since their release, and without getting into the 'older is always better' argument, believe that the earlier models feel and sound different - in a very good way. The later models with bound necks and extremely shiny finishes are great of course, but for me, the older models have something extra. Finally, this DGT comes with a PRS hard case and all the hang tags (again, not pictured) - and will not disappoint. |
