I recently bought this



And Jimmy C from the US is going to do me a drop in kit because this time around I can't be naffed. 

Looking for suggestions on paint jobs that someone with no skill can pull off that looks awesome. Either vintage and beat up or modern and glittery...

What's the best looking Fuzz Face out there that  might be able to copy with a couple of cans of paint and a screwdriver?

yeah but do I need to keep the tone in with more paint or do i need to let the tones breathe? Maybe just spray it in nitro...

Also will it look cooler if it gets bashed having a primer or not?

As Hammerite is formulated for direct use on rusty external metal, I probably wouldn't bother with a primer coat.
Maybe try on some sample material first before committing to the final stage. That way you could try with & without a primer coat.
I'm sure that there will be others on here that have more experience than myself on pedal enclosure finishing

Did a first coat and it was decent enough but wire woolled it back this morning a little and did a 2nd coat. Looks great. Will take photos when it is properly dry.

Cool colour though, I think it has that 'vintage' vibe already.

The paint is a bit more even than the light is making it look in that photo. Had half a a mind to get my son to do a golden yellow handprint across the top now so it's like the colour scheme of the 60s F1 Lotus but basically he will balls it up and I will have to start again. 

Relatively happy with it like this but it looks a lot more retro when I'd sanded it down a tiny bit with 000 wire wool so might do that again. 

Trying to find somewhere that could make a paint stencil I can stick on it for the text. didn't want to use waterslides over such  a dark base.
