WITHDRAWN : PRS Paul's Guitar in Whale Blue with a rare White back. 1st run 2013.

Withdrawn, I know I would regret it if I sold it sometime down the line.


I am putting this one back up for sale, reluctantly and due to circumstances, if my McCarty sells I might well withdraw it again.

So, here we have a stunning Artist Grade Top PRS Paul's Guitar in excellent condition, it does have a slight color blem in the Maple, I have seen this in a couple of Whale blue tops from the same period. Built in 2013 it is part of the original run of this model. All the same quality and attributes of my McCarty and DGT but with its own unique tonal quality.

This is the only White backed one I can find, the only other image of one was the same guitar when it was 1st available at a USA dealer (pic 7). The Lampshade knobs were changed from brown to clear, everything else is stock. The Paisley case is a bit bling but is a beautiful piece of kit just the same.

Plays faultlessly, sounds great, looks wonderful, what more could you want in a guitar, well perhaps a lower price maybe

Just to say that I think my ultra close up shot of the blem is making it look a whole lot worse than it actually is and also that it is in the wood and under the finish.


I wont send it but you can collect from Dunstable or I would travel to meet or deliver within an hour's drive, this would be for a sale, not a try out.

£2675 no trades I'm afraid .

The colour blemish ruins the whole guitar for me sorry. What that guitar needs is for someone to come along and do a full 'heavy relic' on it. That would fix it.

I’ve only ever seen one other White backed PRS not sure what model it was but it was at world guitars years ago well before the Paul’s guitar came out. That one had a Raspberry flame top and a White back - that one was drop dead gorgeous as well

I have seen a "Fatback Custom" model in exactly the same colors and that one also had a slight blem under the stain, just like mine. I have searched all over the web and can't find another Paul's like my one. if it were not for my circumstances I would not be selling it, it is a beautiful guitar.

Thanks chaps for all the comments. In spite of it stunning looks and pedigree it has had no takers, maybe it is over priced, so 
I have now reduced it to £2490 for the next week, after that I think I am going to keep it. I will have to dig out something else to post in order to get some cash in
