Where can i get inlay material from ?

Im looking for a piece of green abalone/paua abalone (54mm x 24mm x 2mm/1.5mm)
Obviously to find a piece that size in solid shell would be almost impossible.
But i can even find the thick laminate type

Unless you buy a sheet £100 plus

Anybody know where i can source some ?

It would be worth contacting Small Wonder, and see if the guy there (whose name I’ve currently forgotten) can provide you with the specific piece you need. I would agree with you that it’ll needed to be a piece of laminate.

I dont know if laminated shell comes that thick.  I do have half a sheet of Abalam somewhere which tends to be about 1mm thick
