This is the only SG I have ever liked. I love Jeff Tweedy.

I can't quite justify buying this but wow, it's lovely...

There were two different batches of the Jeff Tweedy SG from what I've read. The first run that had the gold "50th anniversary" on the headstock suffered from quality control issues. Not many of those made it out to shops before Jeff Tweedy had a word with Gibson.

The second run were without the anniversary gold crown and no production issues IIRC. I've heard the total number produced in this batch was ranging from 250 - 2000. Who knows, either way they are hard to find. I'm sad to miss out on this one. I bought an SG with a maestro last week. Cursed timing 

Edit - I'm by no way saying the above is correct or the truth. I just enjoy that the Tweedy SG has become on of those mysterious and mythical guitars to be hunted
