By Fender Masterbuilder Greg Fessler. Limited to only 100 pieces, Greg designed this Masterpiece based on the ’64 Gold Sparkle Strat on pages 30-31 from the book “Galaxy of Strats”.

I added an orange drop treble bleed which retains the Highs when the volume is turned down so no loss of tone

Greg’s specifications: one-piece Alder body with 1964 contours, thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish over gold sparkle, straight-grain maple neck with a #3 “C” shape, Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5” radius, aged nickel vintage-style hardware, and extremely convincing relic work to the body and neck. Furthermore,

Greg picked out his all-time favorite pickup combination: ’69 “Grey-Bottom” pickup in the neck, Fat 50’s in the middle, and a Texas Special in the bridge position.

This Strat is an absolute stunner, the neck shape is super comfortable, the body contours are soft and elegant, the pickup combination is world-class, and the presentation you get from Fender Custom Shop is second-to-none.

In addition to the Master Design hardshell case, it comes with its COA and all case candy. This Strat also comes with a leather-bound booklet containing a copy of Greg’s original notes, a Shop Floor Traveler, and a DVD interview with Greg.
