SOLD: Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘57 Strat Now £1050

Acquired through this very parish a few months ago as a bit of a project guitar. 

Now all fixed up with gen Fender tort guard, new 5 way switch and pots. New gen Fender trem arm and new Gotoh kluson style locking tuners. Cavity fully copper lined and frets dressed and polished. 

Pickups have also been upgraded to custom shop fat 50s before I acquired it. 

Now looks and plays luuurvely! Originally bought this as a cheaper alternative to fill the void after I sold my Xotic strat as I thought I’d still need something strat alike. Turns out I still don’t play it much and I’ve spotted a Kiesel headless I’d probably play a lot more, knowing me. 

Obviously, plays like butter, she’s proper road worn and feel free to comment if you’d be all over this but the state taxes you too much & the dog’s poorly, you’re missus won’t let you or you just can’t afford it! 

Oh, and I’m not one of those cheap sander/have a go idiots either 

Not 100% sure on price, as it’s not all original and non original hard case. Definitely in ‘Road worn’ condition but nothing ugly and looks smashing to me.
 £1300 £1150 Collection preferred (Stourport/Kidderminster area) but can ship at cost.

Blimey, that is gorgeous. I do love a 2TSB finish  but they tend to come with the Eggshell White guard, which I'm not crazy for. The Tort upgrade is wonderful.

I'd be all over this but the state taxes me too much, the dog’s poorly (well if I had one!) & my missus won’t let me, but I just can’t afford it anyway! Lol  

Oh, I have 3 strats already, cost of living crisis, energy bills and my daughters getting married in March. Those ones are all true! 

Seriously, its a lovely Strat so hope you find a good home for it.
