Strat pickguard colour

I’ve got a 50s style 2016 MIJ sonic blue strat. I’ve changed the knobs and pickup covers to fender aged white but the original white pickguard now looks too clean. I can’t find an aged white pickguard, closest seems to be vintage cream. Will that work?

An off-white pickguard will match pretty well with your "aged" plastic parts.

The problem is that the original eight-hole, single-ply pickguards don't discolour in the way that the later eleven-hole white/black/white Nitrate ones do.

It matters very little in the grand scheme of things.

Fender themselves are getting increasingly slack about such anachronisms. DuPont Sonic Blue was first used in 1960. IMO, it has no place on any "Fifties" model.

A friend of mine has a Vintera "Fifties" Tele in Sonic Blue. It plays very nicely but I always balk at the colour mismatch.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.
