Which d/s tape?

What's Hot
Greetings folks,
Im nearly at the end of my last roll of double sided tape, used mostly for holding router templates, and for the life of me i cant remember where i got it from (online).

Can anyone recommend a not-too-thick d/s tape (not with the weave through it), suitable for general work and template holding?

Cheers,
Adam

    This stuff is all I use now;
    Double Sided Exhibition Sticky Tape Floor Carpet Strong NEC Approved 50mm x 50m - Picture 1 of 1

    "exhibition tape"

    You have to apply pressure (clamps even) to activate it to stick properly, but it's easy to remove afterwards and doesn't leave all the sticky residue of other tapes that I've tried.
    Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

    I use the Intertape golf grip stuff. It's an adhesive impregnated crepe paper tape so (like the stuff Mr TT posted) peels off cleanly, and has huge holding strength - I can machine each side of a guitar body on the CNC machine with about three square inches of the stuff.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Is it possible to find the Intertape tape in the UK for anything less than an eye-watering price? Amazon have 2x36yd rolls @ £96 i think it waa!

    Ooof!

    A roll will last years though - I last bought some at least eight years ago.

    I use what TTony said, it's all I I've used for years now.

    I put mine in a vice to clamp it before I do any routing and use a pallet knife to remove a template.
