Does anyone have a sub £500 Les Paul style guitar they are looking to sell

After watching Jimmy Page tutorials a lot recently, I find myself torn between a telecaster and Les Paul style guitar.  I suppose it would be even better if it had that JP look but like the Lemon Drop style as well

So thought I would ask in here before getting a Tokai LP, Burny, lower end Gibson or similar. 

Might also be interested in one of the Vintage Peter Green models as had one before and remember it being very good.

I have one of the Inspired by Gibson Les Paul Special in TV Yellow and am very impressed with it. 

It could be worth checking out the Les Paul 1959 Standard they do. Could probably pick one up around the £500 mark used. I quite fancy one myself if I can’t get an Eastman SB59 or a Maybach Lester for a decent used price.

One of the 59 epi’s might be a very good idea.

Incredibly tempting. As it’s an Eclipse copy, are they similar to the LP in sound and construction

I suggest the Sire L7 model. Body not as deep as a Gibbo but the neck profile is excellent. 

Buying pre-owned might leave budget for replacement pickups. Don't bother with the so-called Jimmy Page wiring harness. He only uses phase reversal  every once in a while to cop the Peter Green sound.

Incredibly tempting. As it’s an Eclipse copy, are they similar to the LP in sound and construction  It's an eclipse copy in looks - matte hardware, knobs that look like they're off a Tele etc., but it's pretty much a LP in sound / construction. Pickups are certainly not hot / active and and more vintage / paf - can get a multimeter on to confirm resistance if you'd like? It's got a set neck, headstock angles back etc. like a proper LP.

For the money, it's probably a step up on the Chinese made epi's (of course, I would say that)...

My Jimmy Page(ish) selection:

• I tend to play the riffs to "Heartbreaker" and "Communication Breakdown" on the Tele.
• The Danno 59 is tuned to DADGAD and I do "Black Mountain Side" and "Kashmir" on it.
• The LP Special gets a run at "Heartbreaker", "The Rover", and "Ten Years Gone". (I've also just I've forgotten "The Wanton Song" too.)
  

The Tele and the LP aren't JP's styling, but the sound is there; the LP has had a headstock repair, so it's properly run-in and the Tele is a MIM partscaster.

I've not particularly made any effort to sell them, but all I tend to do is pick them up, run through the above, and then put them down for a month or so until I have the urge again.

I've also got this Aria PE Elite which is LP-ish and a rather good budget guitar.

I came on here to suggest this. I love mine and paid under £500 for it new but I think they have gone up a bit since.

I don’t have a lot of knowledge on the Burny guitars. If it is Japanese I would definitely be interested

There's a pair of Hohner L59s on ebay (no affiliation), Korean 90s and massively underrated.
