The thing is to start with a capture that is close to what you want.
When you buy commercial captures you generally get many of the same amp.
I can only speak for amalgam but for example I bought their jcm 800 pack and there was about 30 captures through different cabs at different settings.

The reverbs are a small selection from their X Series pedal I believe, so would assume the same again - there isn't a pitch shifter on the modulation one though, apart from the usual chorus type effects

I’ve still got my ToneX rig as well as the ToneX one. Would be super cool if they can make it work in the small version too.
I'm currently using a couple of the free Amalgam Mesa captures but want a better hi-gain Rectifier tone so I either buy a couple of Amalgam amps or get the official IK MESA pack.
If anyone has tried both then even better.

I keep seeing the Mesa pack advertised on Facebook especially the Clean Anybody? and Animal's Nickel presets which sound really good to me.
I like the Amalgam approach though and they have a 3 for 2 and a 5 for 4 offer on just now.
This could go either way!
Just for some constructive Continual Professional Development.

Between this and the as yet unnamed Fractal unit, it does point to 2025 being the year of the MIDI controller.
