When it comes to the relationship between what I play and the money earned from the gig, it seems the less I play the more money I earn. In the Kate Bush thing the guitar had a very back room role and the eighties thing is similar. Some songs I'm doing very little as there's almost no guitar on some of these records. I still enjoy it but it's nice when we get to a song that I can improvise a bit on. Because I'm very much an EVH kind of guy at heart and I'm only really doing an impersonation of an eighties / brit pop / Ska player / RockaBilly player when I'm doing those kinds  of music.

So every other Wed I run a Jam night at the Vic in Swindon - last night some new band mates came down and we played this! 

If ever you`re in Swindon on a Wed pop along, it`s always great fun. Complete mix of styles, ages, abilities  - and alternative karaoke upstairs in the bar `til 2am if you`re really keen!!!!!!! (I`m not! :-) )
