A really special guitar but a reminder that singlecuts will never top my list of guitars.  I feel somewhat conflicted about this but I have others I'd rather keep and I feel, once again, that I have too many.  It's light, sounds great and is perfect for a Les Paul fan who wants something far more comfortable and easy to play, while retaining classic tones.

Some spec stuff:

  • Real Mother of Pearl logo inlaid in ebony on the front of the headstock
  • Earvana Compensated tuning nut
  • Real mother of pearl and paua abalone inlays
  • Dunlop 6000 fretwire
  • Graphtech Ratio tuners
  • Grained Ivoroid binding
  • Mahogany body and neck
  • Maple top
  • Rosewood fretboard
  • All-access neck joint
  • "Whale" tummy cut
  • Cream T BernieBuckers
  • Anomaly pickup rings
  • Tonepros locking bridge/tailpiece
  • Switchcraft switches and jacks
  • Bare Knuckle specced CTS pots and boutique capacitors
  • Neck size is a taper going from 21mm at the first fret to 23mm at the 12th fret - like a slimmer '59

ESP/E-II Horizon in Blue/Purple Gradation with ESP hard case - £1,400

Lovely guitar but, me being me, bought at the same time as two others - and at least one needs to go.  It's in lovely condition with nothing noticeable - no dings and I can't see any scratches.  Recently strung with D'Addario 10s and cleaned up/fretboard conditioned, it comes with its hard case and a pair of Schaller strap locks.  The EMGs (57/66) are surprisingly versatile and worth reading up on if you're usually put off by active pickups: https://www.guitarinteractivemagazine.com/review/emg-57-66-pickups/

Message me if you want more pics/video/audio.

Trade-wise, I'd only really be looking at trading up (can add cash) - but by all means try me.

Can be collected from Carlisle area but will gladly ship at cost (less than £50).

I grew up playing a blue Epiphone Les Paul so that has quite the appeal. That is a crazy looking fiddle lad.

That 30th Anniversary is a great guitar - someone is gonna get a great axe
We still have a few of the 30ths left but that is a good price for one that has relatively low mileage

Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.

I am stunned @imalrightjack has listed that Feline. He adored his previous Lion and thought this was even better.
    Some top, some colour.
Someone is going to get a lifer if they buy this and for less than half the price of Murphy Lab Gibson.......

  • Cheers, guys. Absence of impulse control led to this. I might well change my mind - but, if you’re interested, shout up!

In case anyone was wondering, yeah they look great but can they shred in the wild?  The answer is yes, yes they can, in fact they're so splendid they almost play themselves.  Here's my @FelineGuitars ; Feline (Gothic) in action recently with a bit of self indulgence lol
