WTB - A nice guitar - Budget around £1000

Hi all, I’m after a new guitar to use for different tunings in my function band.

I have a top budget of £1200 but £1000 or lower would be good.

I really like Musicman and Japanese Gretsch guitars. Maybe a Fender USA/Deluxe Telecaster of some description could be cool. Open to options in a similar vein, no Floyd’s please.

Perhaps a Gibson Junior of some
description or possibly a Charvel etc. Let’s see what you’ve got!

I can't imagine a better way to spend £1000 than on @Sevenof9 's Berlin Pro - it's a stunner with great pedigree for the  price of something mass produced in a far flung land (the Berlin was made in Coventry).

I’ll be moving a Squier JV Telecaster 1983. £1000 would make it the cheapest JV anywhere. In really good nick too.
