Hi folks, hoping you're all well out there?
I'm considering buying either an Eastman SB or a Maybach Lester so I thought I'd test the waters and see what's out there? Open to other similarly specced suggestions too so feel free to share any potential candidates in the comments section below.
Looking for something with a carved top and 2x P90s plus it must lightweight so ideally under 8lbs 8ounces or, failing that, an absolute max of 9lbs.
I'd probably need it sent by courier unless you happen to live within reach of Helensburgh (approx 25 miles NW of Glasgow) so please bear in mind that it would need to be safely packed too.

Budget: £1500

Maybachs with P90s are extremely thin on the ground, so you’re much more likely to get hold of an Eastman. Having had and played a few examples of both, I think they’re pretty even on quality, though I like the Maybach feel more.

There is this listed at the mo, which I had a little moment lusting over. Not quite your whole list but it does look like a player

Thanks @dazzajl but sadly, for reasons I've never fully understood - perhaps, aged 4, being persuaded to jump out of a high tree with a blanket as a parachute by my 6 year old brother (spoiler: it went as badly as you're visualising ;) ) might have something to do with it? - I've never really got along with either double cuts or Specials. Which is probably my loss tbh as these do look fab.

I totally get it. There is no end to the ridiculous idiosyncrasies I have about what guitars I’m drawn to.

Sadly, unlike you, I’m not clever enough to accept it. I bought a Gibson, very similar to that Maybach once. It was gorgeously aged by Raygun Relics and had a fab pair of Lollar pickups. We didn’t bond and I sold it at a loss but here I am coveting another.  :3

Graham at Raygun is such a lovely man and sorely missed where the UK guitar scene is concerned. Btw my "+1 Wisdom" is down to you coveting another Gibson LP. The brain/logic/reason has no real place where GAS is concerned. We all know this. But your heart's desire for another LP has a stubbornness, in the face of such compelling evidence to the contrary, that I stand and applaud it!

I'll be back to share details of the guitar I was lucky enough to get my mitts on...once it's arrived.  I dare not provoke the GAS Gods/Courier Gods until it is safely ensconced on its guitar stand in my sitting room.
    :)
