Saw a chart yesterday that has max with the most DNF’s since he started in 2016…

if we want fast racing the drivers need to feel safe to attempt it. I was not in favour of the look of halo when it was introduced but you cannot deny the safety improvement it has delivered.

I think it’s easier to argue that peak recklessness was the very early days of hay bails, no harness, fireballs and dead spectators

True; to be fair, that was the generation which had just gone through the Second World War, and they had a different view of risk.

Additionally, while motor racing was certainly more reckless in those days, behaviour towards other drivers was not.

Vettel and Stroll (shock!) confirmed at Aston for next year.

Looks like silly season is all over bar the shouting. Just the second seats at Alfa and Haas still to be confirmed I think.

Schumi wants out of Haas and into Alfa because a) he’s fed up with Mazepin and b) Haas have stopped investing in all but the bare minimum required development.

Don’t think his chances are good TBH.

Planet F1 is a truly strange place, you will literally have people argue black is white and vice versa depending on which driver they favour all the while arguing that just because they favour driver x it has no bearing on the fact that driver y is clearly to blame.

Which one? I think there are 3 or 4 different companies selling a product called Red Bull in different territories - it’s really odd - I read a good article about it a while back - will see if I have the link

Ha ha .. Red Bull stands no chance .... I remember McDonald's lost a nine-year legal action against Frank Yuen, owner of McChina Wok Away, a small chain of Chinese takeaway outlets in London. A UK court ruled the McChina name would not cause any confusion among customers and that McDonald's had no right to the prefix Mc.

True.

That's why Fender don't bother trying to protect anything other than the headstock shape and the logo now.
They could have protected the body shape if they had done that from the 1960s but they didn't.
