    I'm not quite old enough to remember Nige in red. I came in around 92 - I do remember watching Senna get a lift on the Williams at Silverstone in 91. My earliest tangible memory of Ferrari was Berger/Alesi, though iirc that was a little later

    Now confirmed by Merc, and subsequently Ferrari:

    Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and Lewis Hamilton will part ways at the end of the 2024 season. Lewis has activated a release option in the contract announced last year.

    Scuderia Ferrari is pleased to announce that Lewis Hamilton will be joining the team in 2025, on a multi-year contract.

    Same, my Uncle worked for Brabham when Bernie owned the team then moved with him when he went off to  FOPA.

    I imagine they will work hard for him this season and then look forward to working with a proven winner with a lot of experience, who is still fast in 2025

    I would assume both teams will be full speed ahead with their outgoing drivers, because they won’t want to compromise 2025, but also the longer-term risk is nill because of the 26 reg change
