I suppose that then begs the question… if you know you’re that good and have an abundance of talent, does that come hand in hand with arrogance? I must admit though, for me Max pushes it to the extreme. I detest the way he expects everyone else to get out of his way or sulks when the same tactic is pulled on him.

For me, it’s a bit like what I experienced in the RAF - some (some) of the fast jet boys had this super arrogant, selfish, hot-tempered thing going on where they thought they were right about anything and everything and didn’t deal
well with that being questioned (on any topic) - but I came to think that maybe for some of them it took an aspect of that for them to do some of the things they did.

I’m sure there is always an element of arrogance when you’re that good. It’s a part of getting to the top and staying there. What I can’t stand is the whiny petulance

I'm watching on F1TV but I really like Nico - he's the only one happy to cut through the PR bullshit and ask the proper questions the rest of us are thinking

And Fiona May on the finish line flag - married an Italian, but went to school in the Derby area - My ex wife, raced against her in a few 'local' school based athletic meetings - She went on to race/compete for England - Fiona that is and not my ex

I don't think the circuit is the issue.  DRS has less effect when they're trimmed out in low drag settings though.  

Cars can't follow closely when they're matched on pace.  The regulation changes haven't changed the world there and, unless the upcoming changes promise something I'm not aware of, that's something F1 has to live with, as well as performance disparity.

I think it needs more corners, maybe a stadium section with slow to medium speed sections and a bus stop chicane etc , it'll never happen but it needs something

I watched it surrounded by a bunch of Dutch Max fans. 

Lando has all the bad luck. I can’t see him clawing enough points back this year. I really want him to.
