I couldn't make it through series 1, I was really disappointed with it I was one away from the final episode when I threw in the towel and decided it just wasn't 'horror'.  

Is each series stand alone?  Are they more worth while?

Shame, as the main characters were mostly excellent.

The last episode of series one is the most bat shit crazy episode of tv i have ever watched. I assumed they had been cancelled and had to fit a whole series into one episode

it gets better than series one. Its standalone stories with a lot of actors returning

Pretty much an Ensemble theatre group making  a TV show. Hit and miss, but mostly hit.

I thought the finale of season 3 was a real let-down, but have enjoyed the rest.

That was it: lots of potential, but it didn't deliver any actual scares, it was quite theatrical though.

Maybe I should treat it as a weird drama rather than horror...
