Sold 13/09 - still a bit sad really but…

Finally the time has come to sell my mid 2000’s mint condition DV8. Very rare to find especially in this condition- no dings, chips anywhere. Incredibly minor pick marks that I can’t capture on camera other wise exemplary. This was my pride and joy for many a year and has been very well cared for. No fret wear, all original hardware ;

25-1/2" scale

Neck-thru-body construction

Mahogany body and neck

Rosewood fretboard

24 jumbo frets

TonePros string-thru tune-o-matic-style bridge

Seymour Duncan pickups (JB in the bridge, Jazz in the neck)

2 volumes, 3-way switch, and tone controls

Sperzel locking tuners

8-ball inlay on the 1st fret plus dots

Neck and headstock binding

Supplied with strap and Dunlop strap locks and in a fitted soft shell case (way better than the esp one of the time). 

Selling as I have acquired a Gibson mustaine V!

If it does then it's a bit of a poser as to whether you should sell. They def don't pop up all that often in the UK.

What’s the neck like on this?

@Jabba74 its a nice slim neck - not wizard profile but circa 19.5mm at the first fret. It’s a supremely comfortable to play and has a gentle C profile. It’s got great higher fret access. You are welcome to try it out if you are local

True mate! With all due respect this is not really a Superstrat/Metal guitar type group. There are sporadic pockets of sanity....guys like @Gizmo ; @Offset ; @skullfunkerry ; @carlos etc might dig this

I'd like to think I'm sane.   I like the look of metal guitars, I like the music.  But whether it's an RG, or an extra-pointy V, or a BC Rich Ironbird, I just don't look right for them.  And I don't like Floyds, I don't like skinny necks.  Sorry guys.

I do indeed like that a lot, but I'm not looking for any more guitars at the moment, sorry @James1981 . Have you tried sevenstring.org? I'm sure they'd bite your hand off over there...
