FS/FT - Jet City Amelia 50w Head - Martin Kidd Design - £400
What's Hot
Jet City are probably best known for their "soldano designed" amps, but the slightly lesser known Custom 22 and even rarer Amelia both originated from Martin Kidd designs.
50w, two foot switchable channels, two foot switchable master volumes, an extra overdrive switch to add more gain to channel 2, and an FX loop.
This amp ticks a lot of boxes!
Now, the official line is that this amp bears no resemblance to a Cornford MK50ii. Users however seem to suggest that there may be some shared DNA between the two. Either way, I'd humbly suggest that this is the closest you'll find to an MK50ii anywhere near this price range!
If you're after something versatile in the british/marshall/cornford vibe then I doubt you'll find anything better without spending significantly more dosh. Truthfully I haven't used it in ages so I really don't need it, but I'd be happy to hold onto it as I have a sneaking suspicion I might regret letting this one go.
Looking to trade for something single channel and ideally plexi-ish. A PRS HDRX 20 or DGT 15 head would be digging in the right sort of hole. JCM800 style would also be fun, as I do like my 80s nonsense.
Hughes and Kettner Grandmeister 40 maybe? although i'm not sure why....it's probably the blue lights.
Excellent condition, but not super pristine "just out the box" condition.
Update!
Now F/S as well
