Anybody else trying it out at all?

Just installed it under virtualbox. Installation when fine, why is it so much faster to install on a VM that it is to install windows normally,

even from an SDD mounted as an iso?

Will keep reporting back as I play around some more.

Once they produce a version that doesn't log every keystroke I make and send it home to Microsoft, perhaps I'll try it.

OK installation took all of 10mins without a hitch, only a couple of questions asked.

Language and logon ID

The start Menu is back. Yippie

And you have the ability to add virtual desktops (a long time coming, I've had to use third party apps in the past)

Standard windows resizing of App Store Apps is good, but then again, the UI of App Store apps does not suit a desktop environment

Not had one crash yet, and the performance under virtualbox is impressive.

Wish they would bring back Aero Glass mind, I like a bit of 3D bling on my desktop not the horrid primary colours

I've had it installed on a secondary PC since release of the tech-preview.

It's super speedy on the SSD, it's neat and works... not had any issues so far. Buying more RAMs and SSD this month so might see what it's like when it's got more toys to play with.
