Sold - Carvin CT6 1996 - £700 now £600 (collection preferred so you can be sure about the condition, but UK postage - £15)
Where can you find a custom shop quality, USA built guitar for the price of a Far East import? Right here! If you want high end quality, great design and looks, superb playability, and don't mind a bit of wear, this is it...
 Stunning guitar, made by Carvin / Kiesel in the USA to a very high standard with excellent spec, mahogany set neck, mahogany body, ebony 'board with abalone block inlays with matching abalone headstock logo, and then that stunning carved top with trans purple finish over the maple. Twin humbuckers with coil split and locking Sperzel tuners etc.
 It looks gorgeous and plays really well, but as such, it has lots of evidence of use, swirls, scrapes and dings are evident on the body, a couple of tiny dings on the neck and a chip in one of the inlays which is hard to photograph.

NOW REDUCED TO £600 - this is the price I was offered by a shop as a part exchange - they anticipated selling it in the store for around £800.

Great USA Gibson Firebird finished in satin. All the right appointments (for me at least), reverse headstock, mini humbuckers, set neck etc. and probably the coolest guitar I've owned!
Plays well with no issues, although the satin finish makes it susceptible to picking up marks so there are swirls and a few dings here and there.
Comes with a bass gigbag.

Price drop on the Carvin, which, given the spec and build quality, makes it an insanely good deal (if you can live with the dings).

Been toying with keeping this as it plays so well, hence not bumped for a while, but really looking for something with P90s - happy to consider trades and may have some cash to add.

If you want a quality USA guitar that looks great, plays really well and you don't mind it being a bit worn in, I think you'll struggle to find anything better than this for the money!

When I bought it (for a chunk more than this) it didn't have the case so you benefit from it now including a proper fitted case.

Bump for the Carvin - this one's a bit like a yoyo! I've removed it from sale several times (mostly having played it then got cold feet) and then I thought it had sold but that fell through. 

TBH, still tempted to keep it as having just played it, I'm reminded how good it is, but, I've over spent so probably ought to go.

Offering this for a remarkably excellent £600 - I paid £700 and then sourced the case for it, but my loss is your gain... oh, and it does like a bit of gain!

Video added which gives a helpful (hopefully) summary of the guitar - sorry for the a) recording quality, b) tilt your head bit when I switch to the sound section, c) audio quality - the sound demo is more about showing that it all works than actually giving you a taste of the guitar as the audio quality just isn't up to it!
