    Hmm?

Max pull from a 13A outlet is ~3kW and even a 16A industrial will only give you 3680.

So even if the amp is 100% efficient???

    Dave.

  • So...the 300W jobbie is their take on the classic SVT? It's about half the price, which I'm not entirely sure is low enough.

    Dont shoot the messenger lads

These power claims are a bit like buying parcel shelf speakers for my car in the 1990's from the littlewoods. rms 20 watt turned in hundreds and hundreds of peak power.

yeah i think its ampeg inspired...they say its based on the 60's sound...so sounds about right for ampeg, and it has the whole silver and black thing going on.

I didnt thing ampegs were that cheap...but i guess second hand they would be a bargain as they wont hold value as well as an ampeg.

I'm wondering how well it will play with a fuzzed out guitar...

    Lo and behold...

    "Peak power both channels driven 2 x 1950 W / 2 Ohms"

I don't doubt it's a serious beast but making claims like that and not even quoting an RMS rating is kind of cheesy...
Don't ask me, I just play the damned thing...
