SOLD

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I was directed to this site by another user from the shortscale.org forum – a board on which I post regularly (with the same username but with a space instead of the underscore).

For sale is my FENDER MODERN PLAYER STARCASTER semi-hollow body guitar in Aged Cherry Burst

This model costs £611 new. Only selling as I have replaced it with the natural finish version, which I prefer.

Totally stock except for a replaced tone pot.

Yours for £400 plus actual shipping cost, but would prefer not to post if possible. However, it would be well packaged, neck-off.

I am in south Lincolnshire, around an hour's drive from Nottingham, Cambridge, Leicester, Lincoln.

    Nice guitar.

You don't need the BBCode on there (the [img] stuff)

Just post the link and the pic will show.

    Thanking you

    and welcome aboard @Noisy_Cat
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
